Come Skywatchin' With Me..

It's finally starting to cool off a bit here, in Jacksonville, FL. It was in the upper 70's today, and has been down into the 60's at night. Now is when I start to go to the beach more, and just generally get out and about. I wish it was like this year 'round. Next year I'll plan my vacation to be a little later than I usually do, probably mid to late september, I've missed the Big E 2 years running, so that's on my radar for next year.

Anyhoo, I had the pleasure of seeing a beautiful sunset the other night at my usual location: the public boat ramp just down the road a bit. The colors were so vibrant, and the weather was perfect, I stayed til it sank and took quite a few pics. Still waiting on the hawk to show again, too.

Here's the sun as it's disappearing behind the trees....just lovely, no??
